Now from this day forth

you shall feel no rain

for each will sheltered by the other

now you shall feel no cold




for each is fire unto the other

now there is no more loneliness

for each is companion unto the other

now you are two bodies




yet there is but one life before you

and now you shall go to your dwelling place

for the days of your togetherness have begun

and may your days be good and long and long upon the earth

and on this day we will say

that you shall walk side by side forever

and you shall share whatever comes

because where one goes the other will follow




where one lives

the other will live
